Below was my review before the restaurant closed. I just hope that after this pandemic, they will open again. I’m glad that I was able to enjoy their dishes.
If you are looking for a low-key, laid back restaurant in downtown Los Angeles then look no further this place is what you are looking for. Not only they have a DineLA menu they also have their regular menu that changes every week. If you want to feel and experience all the action behind the kitchen then request to be seated in the chef’s table. Watching Chef Ilan cook a dish… is mesmerizing. You can tell he is in his zone. Don’t even attempt to talk to him because it ruins the magic. He does listen and glance and watch you how you like the dish he prepared in front of you. The location of the restaurant alone is fascinating. There’s so much history behind it. Ah, let’s go back to the food. All I can say is… be prepared to have a “food high.” Each dish makes you close your eyes and savor each ingredient. It’s Aaaamazing! Will I come back for more??? Hell yah!!!
